Thanks to its competitive prices, Athienitis Supermarket has been experiencing a significant growth in business. At some point, the supermarket realized that the system they were using had become too limited for the growing company’s needs. The supermarket starting looking into an unified retail management system that could help manage the business operations end to end, from head office to POS terminals. Critical requirements included ease of use and flexibility to suit their current businesses practices and accommodate future needs.

The solution for a mobile workforce
The LS Retail software solution was installed on 27 POS terminals, plus several handheld devices. The mobile POS now run the LS mobile inventory tool along with new back-office functionalities related to in-store management, inventory management and product management. The installation journey was smooth, although the implementation team had tight time constraints, and was required to keep disruption to business operations to a minimum. This was especially hard during rollout to the store POS terminals. Careful analysis of customer’s requirement and subsequent project planning resulted in a successful implementation. The rollout occurred within the pre-defined time limits, with no impact to store operations.
